Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition

The Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition is a public-private partnership effort consisting of nonprofits, educational institutions, private industry, government agencies, and concerned citizens. The SRWC formed at a meeting in December 1994 at Slippery Rock University with the purpose of restoring the Slippery Rock Creek Watershed which is impacted from abandoned mining activities. A video about the SRWC can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CikE6Ji5eDQ. A book entitled Accepting the Challenge written by the SRWC is available at http://www.srwc.org/publications/accepting-the-challenge/.
